The wise ones say, childhood stories influenced our lives with a mix of nature versus nurture doing its work. Zoom through memory lane... now, which childhood story or stories influenced your life and how so?
Those that impacted me, all thanks to my mother, include:
* The Ugly Duckling (My all time favorite! Loved that it is okay to be different and that everyone matters)
* Samson & Delilah (Story about a bull and a cow - loved that Delilah showed Samson how she can be equal to him by being creative)
* Pinocchio (Loved the fact that he was so passionate about becoming real and belonging)
* Gingerbread Boy (Loved the 'run, run, as fast as you can' dedication to keep going despite the odds)
